Our Team - Over 100 Years of combined experience
Agrologists, biologists and technologists comprise SALIX’s team of environmental professionals. Since its inception in 2002, SALIX has grown to 35 staff.
We specialize in reclamation and revegetation, soil and vegetation classification, environmental site assessment, liability estimates and remediation. Our management and staff have hundreds of years of combined experience.
Our diverse team of Senior, Intermediate and Junior field staff and administrative support team have experience levels ranging from 1 to 25 years. This broad knowledge pool allows for mentorship and field and office tasks to be assigned based on level of applicable experience and background.
Our experience enables SALIX to remain competitive in the environmental consulting market while at the same time maintaining a strong safety record for all work completed.

The Salix Management Team
Mr. Bruce Johnson
B.Sc., P. Ag.
Bruce brings over 36 years of experience in vegetation management, government policy and environmental and reclamation processes to Salix. He is a professional agrologist, with specialized expertise in range management.
Mr. Rod Holliday
B.Sc., P. Biol., (R.T.) Ag.
Rod has been in the environmental consulting industry since 1997. He has expertise in the areas of reclamation, environmental protection plans, impact assessments, environmental audits, Phase I, II and III Environmental Site Assessments, pre and post-site construction assessments, conservation and reclamation plans, vegetation, wetland and wildlife assessments and project management.
Ms. Stacy Lunde
(R.T.) Ag.
Stacy has over 25 years direct experience in oilfield environmental and reclamation consulting as well as oilfield land work. She is a licensed Alberta land agent and has considerable experience in government processes and reclamation management.
Mr. Joel Conrad
B.Sc., P. Ag.
Joel has been in the environmental industry since 2008. His experience is largely related to the reclamation and assessment of agricultural and natural areas within Western Canada.
In addition to his experience in the reclamation and agricultural industries, Mr. Conrad has participated in vegetation inventory assessment, weed control and mitigation, Range Health Survey’s and instructed at native plant identification workshops. Joel also has vast experience in Phase I, II and III Environmental Site Assessments, project management and reclamation certification.
